Today in FLA we reviewed the verb être au présent. We also reviewed and practice the verb aller au présent. Parents: Ask you kiddies to sing you the awesome verb song we learned today!

ELA-Today we read chapter 4 in our novel, Freak the Mighty. We also learned about capitalization rules. Challenge: use one of the two new words we learned today at home tonight and see if your parents understand it!
FLA-We had a library period today and learned about Terry Fox in our read aloud. We also reviewed the verb avoir. We practiced together then did a work sheet to check for understanding. ELA 6F3-Today we finished our chapter 2 questions in class. Anyone who didn't get a chance to complete them is to work on them at home. We began reading chapter 3 and will read onto chapter 5 tomorrow!
FLA 6F3-We continued to work on our Terry Fox reading comprehension activity. Anyone who did not complete the questions in class must finish them at home this evening.

6F4-Today in ELA we started our first class novel, Freak the Mighty. We worked making predictions today. In Sciences Humaines we are reviewing our understanding of the map of Canada.
6F3-Today in ELA we finished modelling what a good TUSC presentation should look like while reviewing the rubric we will be using. We also had the opportunity to watch some of the opening ceremonies of the Human Rights Museum as it tied in nicely with what we will be learning about in Sciences Humaines.

Today in Sciences Humaines we put together a puzzle of Canada on the Smart Board. In ELA, we looked through the TUSC roles and decided who would do what role.
